This fabric shows two different gingham check designs on each side – one side has a small, tight navy and teal check, while the reverse features a larger check in navy, teal, and a soft lime-yellow accent. The double gauze construction means it's made from two lightweight cotton layers that are subtly tacked together, giving it a softly surface and airy feel.

It's lightweight yet opaque, breathable, and has a soft, gently textured hand that feels cozy but not heavy. The drape is relaxed with a bit of body, making it perfect for casual wear. It will naturally soften further with washing, though expect a little shrinkage (best to pre-wash).

It has a casual, relaxed feel and works beautifully for warm weather garments but can also layer well into autumn.
Cotton double gauze is often made in small runs, and if this is deadstock, it makes it even more eco-conscious.
