Calling all sewing bloggers, the Pattern Pyramid box is ready to venture out into the world again!!
Last year I was lucky enough to be the recipient of the pattern pyramid or, as I call it, the box of pure joy. The pattern pyramid is the creation of Karen of Did you make that, she was given some vintage patterns and decided to spread the pattern love with the rest of us. Catherine, the original pattern donor, also has a charity http://www.thebrooke.org that, if possible, winners can donation too.
Basically in the Pattern Pyramid you receive a box of patterns, you get to keep a pattern from the box, then you add a pattern in and send it off to the next lucky recipient and this cycle will go on and on and hopefully travel all round the world!!
If you are pattern junkie like me just seeing all the various pattern goodness will be a treat but the real joy is you get to keep a pattern or two 🙂
Yes, that’s a By Hand London pattern you see in the mix. Me and Anna just weren’t right together but I hope she can give someone else happiness.
Wait, I’ve added more patterns.
and these are only the patterns I’m entering…there are sooooooo many more!!!
There are a whole heap of patterns ranging from all the decades and with multiple sizes. Retro, vintage, modern…I’m sure there’s a pattern for you.
1. You must be committed to passing on the pattern pyramid. So hosting a giveaway, picking a winner randomly and paying for the delivery.
2. Leave a comment in my reply section, with a link to your blog, by the 25th April.
and thats it!! This is worldwide so just enter and keep your fingers crossed. Sorry it’s blog only but maybe this can be a motivator for starting a blog?
I added a lot of patterns because I was greedy when it come to choosing what I wanted to keep. Usually it’s a one in, one put rule. So please forgive me and I hope the stack I put in makes up for my indecisiveness.
The lovely patterns I chose, yep I think I’ve fallen in love with the 60’s. I really couldn’t choose which one I loved more :/
Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favour :p

Maybe you need to be in the box so you could visit them as well 😉
ENJOY!! can’t believe this box is going to all the places I want to go 🙂
hello this piramid is comming to belgium after the stop in germany
If the pattern pyramid is still doing the rounds, or more like, the Bermuda triangle of rounds…then I’d love to take part!! What a fab idea! 🙂
Hello!! I know it’s been awhile but you’ve won the box! I hope you still would like to receive it, the last winner dropped out. Please, please, please send me your address as soon as possible and it will on it’s way to you 🙂
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
I just emailed you. Package is ready to go. I just need your address 🙂
Have emailed you. I am sorry I missed your post some how but am still interested.
Hi, I know it’s been ages but did you ever email me? I’ve been looking and either I missed it completely or it went in my spam to be lost forever. Could you email me again and message me here so I know when to look. 🙂
CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!! The pattern box is all yours 🙂
Can you email me at email@example.com and send me your address.
Great I’ll add your name to the draw. I applied for the simplicity challenge too!! I chose the newcomer pattern. Hopefully it will be finished this week 🙂 I was so excited to get a free pattern!! I love the pattern selection they picked.
I would love to join the pattern pyramid. My blog is
sewingnikki.wordpress.com. Thanks and can’t wait! On my blog there is a competition by Simplicity and you can ask them for a free pattern if you want to join.
No problem about the questions! Yes, you would pay the postage to send it to the next winner. The box is about medium weight, I might weight it later this week to check. Sorry I can’t give the exact weight.
My sister probably wouldn’t have the dress anymore. She made it, or something like it when it first came out – brand new… Way back then! About postage, I assume that I would then have to pay postage to send it somewhere else? I would love to join, but until I figure that out I would have to stay out of it. Is the box heavy? Light? Sorry for the questions!
Wow I would love to see your sisters, I can’t wait to see it all sewn up.
Don’t worry about the cost to Canada, as at pattern pyramid host I would pay the post. Shall I add your name to the draw? 🙂
Good luck, your names in the hat 🙂
Good Luck 🙂
I’d love to join the pattern pyramid! Diners crossed! Xx
I think my sister actually made the Style 4066 pattern back then! I think I would have to lengthen any 60’s patterns I would sew up today – scared my knees, or something else might show! 🙂 (How much is postage from where you are to Canada? 🙁 )
What a brilliant idea! I’m not surprised that you couldn’t keep the ‘one in, one out’ rule! I would definitely love a rummage in this box! https://springystitches.wordpress.com/
